Use cases

Improve visibility, control SIEM spend, and accelerate AI initiatives.
Faster, simpler and more cost-effective than any alternative out there.

Close critical visibility gaps

CloudIdentityEndpointNetworkAppsAIOne year agoTodayHotCold

Since your SIEM is too expensive to store all relevant logs, critical context is locked up in cold stores or not retained at all.

During an incident, simple questions such as "did sensitive data leave our environment?", "how did this malware arrive?" or "what prompt made the AI agent take this action?" take hours to answer. And attacks that span months, such as APTs and insiders, can operate freely.

IceGuard lets you search and detect against high-volume logs such as cloud audit logs, endpoint telemetry, network flows, and AI traces affordably.

All data is kept hot in object store. This lets you search over months of data in seconds, and retain it for years while staying within budget.

Control SIEM spend ahead of renewal

Your log volumes grow exponentially. Your budget doesn't. As a result, you face an impossible choice: Pay up, or cut visibility.

IceGuard lets you offload your highest-volume sources such as cloud audit logs, endpoint telemetry, network flows, and AI traces without losing visibility or detection coverage. We migrate your rules, enhance them with behavioral baselines, and run them continuously instead of in batches. Alerts go to your SIEM, SOAR or AI-SOC, so downstream workflows don't have to change.

We run in parallel with your SIEM until renewal to minimize risk and friction. As renewal comes up, you now have a clear alternative to use for offloading and negotiation leverage to keep the renewal cost under control.

Unblock AI initiatives

QueriesthrottledConcurrent queries →Query latency →TimeoutLegacy SIEMIceGuard

Your AI agents are data-hungry. Each can easily issue tens of queries in parallel, and won't proceed until it gets answers. As you move from POC to production, this adds up quickly.

Legacy SIEMs can't handle the load. Neither can cold stores or federation engines.

As a result, your AI agents get throttled. And your query capacity becomes the bottleneck for the scale and speed of your defenses.

IceGuard lets you unify the data required for your AI initiatives in a single, high-performing data store. This ensures your AI agents have the data they need, at the speed and scale they need it, without sacrificing on governance or blowing up the budget.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to replace our SIEM?

No. Most teams start by offloading their highest-volume sources and keep everything else where it is. IceGuard sends its alerts to your SIEM, SOAR or AI-SOC, so analysts keep working in the tools they already use. We start by running side by side to prove the visibility, detection coverage, scalability and user experience improved. Whether you shrink, keep or replace your SIEM at renewal is your call.

What does a POC look like?

First, we pick 3-5 high-volume sources and ingest those into IceGuard. Then, we port existing detection content, and overlay that with IceGuard-provided content. Lastly, we prove out the value: improved visibility, reduced cost, and acceleration of AI initiatives that run against the data. This takes 4 weeks, with 1-2 hours of input from your team weekly.

Which log sources should we offload first?

We usually start with sources that are high in volume, low in complexity and valuable for detection and hunting: cloud audit logs, endpoint telemetry, network flows, DNS, firewall and AI traces are good candidates.

If they're in your SIEM, these usually contribute 40-80% of your SIEM bill and are relatively easy to migrate. If they're not in your SIEM, they improve visibility and detection coverage significantly when added to IceGuard.

Can we do this ourselves without IceGuard?

Probably yes, but why?

It will take time and effort to build and maintain collection, parsing, normalization, table management, indexing, metadata management, detection mechanisms, alerting, dashboarding, observability, performance tuning, scaling, access control, audit trail, and end-user support.

It's also not risk-free. Timelines slip, key team members leave, requirements change. If something unforeseen happens, you're on the hook to fix it (instead of a vendor).

Our goal is to make IceGuard so easy to use, affordable, flexible and secure that no team should have to DIY their SIEM again. Talented engineers are scarce resources, and security teams are always short on people. Use them to build defenses, not data platforms.
